Classic Strawberry Shortcake
Ingredients
2 cups flour
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup cold butter
⅔ cup milk
2 cups sliced strawberries
Whipped cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly.
Stir in milk until dough forms.
Drop onto baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes.
Split biscuits, layer strawberries and whipped cream.
